Missy looked at her quietly, and nodded. She had a good idea of what she was thinking. They all missed their normal lives. "...Was it exciting? Did you like it?" If she kept the girl talking, maybe she would feel better. Maybe she could feel like she was working for her master again, doing all her little, normal tasks... Tasks that didn't include Trying Not To Get Murdered.

"I mean -- I guess I really just enjoy being able to help others, and to make sure everything's running smoothly." She shrugged. "It makes me feel like I'm useful, like I fit in and I'm... well, helpful I guess. Does that make sense?" She paused, realizing she'd been talking for a few minutes and not letting Missy have a chance to speak. (eek, sorry for the late reply! >~<)

"Yes, that makes sense. Having people that make you feel like you fit in is important. So even if you are actually kind of very weird or do not fit in at all, they can make you feel better." Still tinkering with her little clock, Missy smiled slightly. It made her feel good, these normal, mundane tasks of her past. Normalcy was important, finding something not as insane in this crazy deathship, that was. "If you helping makes you feel better, then it is very important and you should continue to try to do that. And I agree with making sure everything's running smoothly. It just feels so good to keep everything in tick-tock shape, don't you think?" Missy smiled at Juliet, one of the only true smiles she had flashed on that ship. It was bright and showed her bright little teeth. "Did you like that pun? I like that pun."

Juliet gave a small laugh at the clockmaker's pun, nodding in agreement. "Quite nice. And --- thanks. You're definitely right." She fell silent for a moment, watching Missy's hands as they almost seemed to move of their own accord, piecing together all the small gears and bits in the clock. "You're very skilled," she said softly, her eyes still fixed on the clockwork. "You make it look so simple."

Missy shrugged, pausing the assembly of the clock to sort out some of the gears and clock pieces from the rest. "But of course, anything you do can be simple if you practice enough!" Missy smiled slightly at the Butler, nodding.
