Hey, everyone! Thank you so much for bearing with us for this...adventure of a game! This brings us to the end of the second and final game of the QPK.
Wait, what?
Yep, you read that right. The current storyline of QPK has ended. There will be no "season 3", as it were. Disappointing, yes, but we have something better.
The next storyline is going to begin instead. QPK is ending and KPK is beginning.
Needless to say, we had a lot of issues this game, a good deal of them having to do with the plot we scrapped together. We realized that we could be running this so much better, so we want to start fresh with a new storyline. That and now that the three main mods have been accepted into tumblr rp groups (Rin in Cynismi, Moss in Despair Days, and Limit in DA5: Mizu), we realized that our preference for roleplaying mediums has changed. That being said, KPK will be a tumblr-based roleplay group. As well as the forums worked for us, we found that tumblr is more suitable for what we need. It is also time to introduce a new pool of people to the game. As awful as it is to say this, we can't keep relying on scratch to give us decent role players who are interested in keeping up with a serious role play. We realize that a good deal of our previous players won't be able to join us, but we cannot continue to run QPK as it is. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.
Onto the new game itself, it will take place in the same timeline as QPK, but ten years after the end of s2. The world is starting to be rebuilt and upon the introduction of a new headmaster, Hope's Peak Academy has gained its shining reputation back. Three classes have graduated without incident and things are going well...for now.
The plots of QPK and KPK will be entirely unconnected and you will not need to have been in QPK to join KPK. There will be mention of s1 and s2 characters, but that will mostly serve as trivia or easter eggs for former players.
KPK is still in a heavy developmental stage, so all we can do for now is ask you to track the #dr:kpk tag on tumblr! We hope to have both the blog and introductory post up soon, but it all depends on how quickly we can work out everything.
Thank you all for everything, all the memories (good and bad), and all the fun! We hope we'll see your applications for KPK, but we also understand if you don't apply. We haven't been the best mods and this is certainly coming from out of nowhere. Regardless, it's been fun and I hope we'll all stay in touch!
As a final note, feel free to update us on what your s1 or s2 character (if they're still alive) has been up to after s2's endgame. We'd love to include as many little things about everyone that we can!
Thank you all once again for participating in Quick Paced Killing!
