((Missy is a little asshole who takes things far too personally. Shi walked in on a conversation between Missy and Tomoko once and Missy has such a grudge on her that she called her an asshole and used it as proof that she could be a murderer in the most recent trial.)) ((to be- nah, that was kind of an asshole move. but still love her) ((It only makes me love her more to be honest. Because look at this little puff she is a clockmaker and far too passionate about clocks and loves her friends so much it's probably at least a little unhealthy and she like only smiles once in a blue moon but look she is such an asshole sometimes. It gives her character dimensions and makes me happy and I need more and I need to stop freaking out about my own character dang))

"M-making a clock," Missy said, her voice almost whimpering in a mixture of sadness, meekness, and fear. She stared down at the pieces again, gulping down a knot in her throat and trying to push down her feelings. "I like making clocks... It kinda... calms me down." She smiled quietly at the pile of gears, her fingers shifting through the pieces again. God, it hurt. Missing her best friend... The one that could make her smile the easiest... God, it hurt so much. ((It's kay this response was p short too.)) "I'm assuming your SHSL is clockmaker then?" Alice smiled, watching Missy work with the pieces of the clock, trying to make sense of how it might all fit together. "That's really awesome... It's almost as if, you get to re-invent time with each clock you make. Wouldn't that be cool." (sorry i just fsghfdsfghgfds htank you for your patience)

"Yeah, I'm sure... we all need some sort of distraction from all the havoc that's going on..." she paused, letting the words sink in. Not only for Missy, but for herself. "Speaking of which... how you hanging in there? It's really tough on all of us. It really isn't easy for anyone. I just want to make sure you're making it through." She didn't have to be ok, she just wanted to make sure that Missy was on her way to getting a place where she could be ok. Because it's ok to not be ok.

She didn't have to be ok, she just wanted to make sure that Missy was on her way to getting a place where she could be ok. Because it's ok to not be ok. Missy began to shake quietly, staring emptily at the broken watch pieces. Dear god. Dear god, how was she hanging in there? How was she making it through? Making it through what? She didn't know how anyone could make it through. Sometimes she felt as if she'd like for someone to kill her... Maybe they'd escape that way. She knew that she'd escape that way... She'd be back with her best friend, Tori. Squeezing her eyes shut, Missy prayed that she wouldn't ask any more. No more. Missy couldn't take it anymore.

Alice's eyebrows raised in concern as she saw the effect of the question seem to devour Missy. She's begun to hide, within herself... Alice put her arm around Missy and embraced her in a hug.
"It's ok Missy. You will get through this. I know you will."
Don't let it change you. Don't let Monokuma get to you. Be strong.

Missy looked up shakily, trying to calm herself further. She watched her fingers pick apart the gears and wires and pieces of a clock and setting it into the watch frame slowly. The familiar movement of her hands made her feel better--or calmer, at least. She knew how to do it from step one to when she placed the glass window to the clock itself on the frame. These simple motions always made her feel better.
"...I'll be okay," Missy whispered, almost as if she was trying to convince herself. "I-I... I l-lost my best friend, but I still have 3 more. I'll be ok-kay. I'll be okay." Little fingers moving, she kept moving and continuing her work.

Alice squeezed her shoulder, her heart aching for the poor girl... she was in so much pain, and experiencing so much grief. "You're right Missy. You will be ok, and you'll learn to move on. It certainly isn't easy, and you won't ever be the same, but you'll grow into a stronger and overall better you. It's part of life - I mean, certainly none of us expected all of this to happen, and this sort of thing doesn't happen to everyone - but part of life is pushing through the difficult things even when everything seems hopeless. And part of that pushing through is finding people who care about you to help you through it... so... I know we're not incredibly close, and we haven't spoken all that much... but if you ever need a hug or just need someone to talk to you can always come to me. And even if I'm having trouble, we can be there for each other..."
Alice paused, thinking for a moment, and taking into consideration all that she was really offering.
"I know I haven't been perfect... I've made my share of mistakes in the trials and I have countless regrets. Not a day goes by when I wish I could be stronger or help more people. But that's part of why I'm here now. I'm here to help you... I'm here to remind you that you will be ok, it just takes time. It won't happen right away, but you'll get there. I know you will... I know you will."
She continued to hug Missy over the shoulder, watching as Missy put together the clockwork.
