You don’t really know what to expect when there’s a chime ringing throughout the whole ship - your first thought is well, is there another murder now then? unfortunately - but instead of Monobear’s almost insane and maddening laugh, an unfamiliar voice pops onto the loudspeaker.
“H-hey, could everyone - ” There’s a pause, as if the person is gathering themselves up, trying to muster enough courage to say whatever they’re gonna say. You could care less, really. Maybe it’ll be a “whoever kills everyone else first gets to finally leave the ship” thing. That’d be relieving. “C-could everyone make their way to the captain’s cabin? Th-the top floor. Their should be a ladder leading up there now, not to mention that the door should be unlocked now. Y-you guys can - ”
Another shaky intake of a breath. You’re getting kind of annoyed, really. “You guys can come up here. The Mastermind will be announced once everyone has gathered.”
You freeze. The...the Mastermind? Is the voice serious? Or is it some sort of new trap?
Well, you have nothing left to lose at this point (except your life but really, is that worth much anymore?) so might as well go up. See what’s going on. See if you’ll finally - finally - get some sort of explanation for this horrible cruise ride.

Alice's eyes widened at the word 'mastermind.' It sounded suspicously like a term you would hear in a movie but noneheless, she knew what it meant. It meant they would find out who was behind all this... But it would also mean... that this was the end for them.
She refused to believe that she wans't going to get out of this alive, but if she... She NEEDED to know WHY. Why did someone put them through all of this horrible horrible torture?
Why?
She began to make her way to the place the voice directed... she'd never been there before. She swallowed her saliva, a lump beginning to grow in her throat as she watched others slowly come out of hiding and follow the voice. Everyone seemed different. Much different, from how they were on the first day. They were weaker, they were coarser, and they were worn. Their heart strings were damaged and they all seemed to age so much faster.
You could die, you know - she told herself. But I will live every last moment I have with the confidence that I stayed strong. She wasn't about to let the bear, or even this 'mastermind' get the best of her. She would give them a piece of her mind.

Aisu heard the voice, her expression grew grim as she flicked her cigarette on the ground and crushed it, as usual, "Who the fuck is this Mastermind?" She asked aloud.
The hockey player sighed, she rubbed her tired eyes and smiled, "Ah well, i'm guessing whoever it is, is probably another dead person awaiting for another trial, I wonder who got killed today.." Aisu smirked, "And yet another day to be blamed..."
Aisu began walking towards the captains cabin, she felt the need to keep confident in this one although she had been through so much in so little time.

The first thing you notice about the Captain’s room is that it’s surprisingly...plain.
Oh, granted, there’s some of the Mastermind-y stuff that you expected - huge screens monitoring everything you’ve been doing, some Monobear parts lying about. But save for a wastebin and a white bed with pink stains that looks too much like a prison cot (the beds you’re provided with are far better, actually) there’s just...nothing in the room.
A throat clears, and suddenly you notice him (has he really been standing in front of you all this time?) right in front of you, hoodie covering most of his face and hands tucked deep into his pockets, shifting awkwardly from side to side.
“Uhm,” He says, and you’re not even that surprised that it’s Four, “hey. I-it’s me.”
You don’t say anything, and you don’t need too. Your clenched fists and upset (tired) faces should speak enough volumes, honestly, but something inside of you holds you back from beating him up. It’s a pity that his mask is still on - you don’t really remember much of how his face looks like other than those unnatural pink eyes - because you really want to see if he’s ashamed at all, if he feels bad for anything that he’s done.
“Y-you’re mad at me, right? Don’t worry, the feeling’s mutual.” A dark chuckle. “C-c’mon, let’s go outside to the deck. Don’t worry,” He adds after a pause, “no more tricks. I deactivated Monobear permanently. Just - ”
There’s static from his mask.
“Just hear me out.”

Aisu clenched her teeth, "You? It was you?! Why should I hear you out when you practically killed half of the living people on this god damn boat and left the rest of us!" The girl held herself back from hurting Four, he used to be a friend of hers, she had so many questions she wanted to ask, but she bit her tongue, no questions where gonna be asked.
The girl's tone sounded raspy, upset, "What makes you think i'm gonna trust you, to go out onto the deck, y-you're a mass murderer, a freak!" Aisu sighed, "I'm gonna get a headache.."
(god this must be a horrible reply, i'm sorry)

Jaxan blinked. What she had been expecting was blood and guts and a whole lot of shit to go down. But this...? Four standing in front of them, seeming...really shy. Nervous, almost. It made her just wonder - why. Why was he being so...meek? She narrowed her eyes.
"'Just hear me out'?" she repeated, anger boiling inside of her. "...'hear me out'?" she spat, "You'd better have a pretty good damn reason why this has all happened to us. All the lives that were thrown and tossed away - Hell, I don't think there can be a reasoning behind that. People died. People died. What was the point? Some twisted, messed up game? You're behind all of this?"

It's impossible to tell exactly what Four's feeling from his lack of expression, but the clearly visible flinch speaks for itself. He's holding himself exceptionally stiff, but whether it's forced or just a force of habit is still unclear. "You're...you're upset." He repeats, but it sounds more like he's trying to drill that fact into himself rather than them. "Th-that's understandable. You have every right to be. But please - "
A catch of breath that, for once, doesn't sound fake.
"Once I'm done, you can leave. You can even kill me. I'll be gone, you'll be free to do what you like. But you've got to trust me, for once."
And just like that, he pushes past them and out onto the deck, not looking back or leaving room for any sort of retort or argument.

Aisu turned to see him walk out onto the deck, her eyes narrowed, "What makes you think we wouldn't be upset? What makes you think we wouldn't be upset? Did you think that we where gonna be happy that half of our classmates are dead??"
The girl looked at Jaxan, before looking back into the doorway that led onto the Deck where Four was going, "Whatever, if i'm killed while i'm out on this deck then fine, I have no reason to trust you Four, Mastermind, Principle, whatever the fuck you are, fuck I won't even try to kill you, you deserve to stay alive for the rest of your life and have these deaths of incredible students haunt you for years.."
Aisu then proceeded to walk onto the deck.

The actress almost looked like she wanted to make a retort, but held back. Something seems...odd. It's like...he's nervous of something. What that is, she doesn't know. There's something different about what was happening right there - different. He's being honest and asking for everybody to listen to him, unlike what she had expected the mastermind to be. Her picture of what would go down is that the mastermind would be proven insane and a horrid excuse for a human being who has sanity.
She frowned, unknowing if she should follow him to the deck or not. Why the deck? Why not right there, in the captain's room? She wanted to take a step forward, but she couldn't, all the same. She was nervous. Nervous because he was nervous, because of something...or maybe it was even someone.
"H-Hey--" she cut herself off, seeing that he had already walked past them and towards the deck. Do you really want to tell us that we can kill you? The question floated at the back of her head, unspoken. True, he was probably behind all of this shit that happened, but...it looked that maybe he even regretted doing all of it in the first place. Hesitantly, with her legs feeling like jelly, she took a few shaky steps forward, towards where she would only assume the explanation would unfold.

Four stops at the very front of the ship, on the very edge, pressed up against the railing. You can't help but think how easy it would be to push him off the edge, to watch him drown against the hull, maybe see some Monosharks come and eat him up if you're lucky. A treat for both you and the sharks, honestly.
He takes off the mask and hood simultaneously, almond colored hair and unnatural pink eyes still staring right back up at you. It's almost unnerving, how sharp they look, how refined, how contrasted they are against his all too pale skin. You don't know what you expected, though - someone with more grandeur, more elegance? But no, you're left with this scrap of a boy. He's got bags under his eyes, concealer visibly smudged across his face in some desperate, messy attempt to look somewhat presentable. But he's the Super High School Level Survivalist, after all, not Make Up Artist.
"Four's not my real name, obviously." He says, and one of you snorts. "It's...it's Shin. Shin Hirata. I'm the younger brother of Chiyo Hirata, though none of you probably know who that is." He laughs, and it's a short sound, a crisp one. "Obviously. I wiped your memory." He taps his forehead. "You were all classmates of Hope's Peak Academy for almost two years, and then I decided to go in and screw with your memory. Wiped it out. You all killed your friends, lovers, and such. People you had known for two years."
"This isn't the first mutual killing game, I'll have you know. There was one right before this, in Hope's Peak Academy itself. People who were two years senior to us were put in almost the exact same environment, forced to kill each other to get out. Most people died, just like here. And among those victims was - " A pause, but his face betrays nothing. "Was Chiyo Hirata."

Aisu was speechless, her memory was wiped out? God that made her even more confused, finally waking herself up from the confusion she spoke, "So to sum it up shortly, you wanted to get revenge for your sisters death and went on your own spree of starting a mutual killing game, and second of all we're the survivors, we didn't kill anybody, unless you arent telling us something."
The girl was astonished really, she couldn't believe that her memory was erased, and how in the hell can she remember everything in her past life, unless that was made up too, "So why are you telling us this? Did you have enough of seeing the same old trials and death, day after day?"

Jaxan visibly flinched at the sight of those pink eyes. Pink like blood - it just was...unsettling, in a sense, to see that color in somebody's eyes. She frowned - he looked tired and worn out. A condition that shou--
Wait, what did he say?
He took away their memories? His name was Shin Hirata? Brother of...Chiyo Hirata? And--wait, did she hear that correctly? Other people were involved in a situation similar to theirs; yet...they were older than them? And...it happened at Hopes Peak?
And--oh. Oh. His sister was dead. Something clicked at the back of her head, and she had to bite down on her tongue to prevent herself from screaming. Wait, what the fuck?! Two situations like this happened - this one being the second of two?? Their upperclassmen?
"...And your sister was...killed?" Jaxan croaked, her voice cracking. She adjusted her tie in a nervous manner with shaking hands - not that it helped, though. She cleared her throat. "...killed? Like...Fermata, Tomoko, and all the others? And...the school was the crime scene?" A thought crossed her mind, about how somebody had approved for her to go to such a school, but she dismissed it.
"...And you decided to recreate the things that your sister went through?" she echoed, voice barely a whisper, and she was shaking very visibly now.
