Putting her fingertips together, Missy thought hard. Hm. What could it be? Who could... Who could've killed him? Slowly glaring around the group, suddenly everyone looked like an enemy. Everyone except for Paris.
"I think... we were on the right track before. No one here works with candles. And no, Darren was a gunner, wasn't he? They could've stolen a gun from him... Or, I'm sure, since the Bear" Missy briefly remembered the way Tomoko had always referred to Monobear as the bear. "wanted us to kill each other, I'm sure he would've made methods of murder VERY accessible, including guns and bullets. The wood has to do with either the storage room--with all the crates, the place REEKS of wood--or someone's SHSL. I understand that this keeps me under suspicion, but I assure you, I would never kill a fri--" Missy choked down her feelings again. "--...anyway. Fermata was, indeed, close to Koto... The social network addict doesn't have any access to wood, really. It couldn't be Nanashi, since she's used to this kind of violence. Okane is a hair stylist." Missy shrugged as if it was obvious why it wasn't him. "...Do painters use wax? I'm not sure, Kura might be a possibility. I don't think Ennosuke uses wood or wax much. Jaxan is an actress." Another shrug. "Kind of useless, if you ask me. Alice... You're a councilor. You don't work with wood and wouldn't hurt a fly. Shi is an asshole, so she's a possibility. Rika, as we've stated, you are a possibility. And Aisu--"
Oh, god, wait. Aisu.
"...Hockey players work with wood and wax, don't they? A-and..." Missy was thinking about it. God, it caught in her throat to be brought to accuse Aisu. "...Ice hockey players can be rough. I've seen them on TV. They bash each other... Y-you're not worried about violence..." Oh, god. She couldn't continue. Aisu had helped her. Clutching the podium, Missy bowed her head and stared at the floor, unable to go on.

Focus! The ones who it is most likely to be at this time are Rika or Amai!" Missy gasped for air, trying to calm herself down but still boiling with anger. " Think for once instead of getting angry at one another. The only one we need to be angry at is Koto's murderer!" She let her head drop into her hands. "...It is likely that it was Amai. Koto's favorite puppet was still on his hand. That means he either was close enough to the murderer to give them a private puppet show of sorts or just didn't know them at all! Aisu isn't the murderer. She wouldn't have been spurred on by the 'motivation,' since she's used to fast changes in temperature, due to her SHSL of Hockey Player. She's used to fast changes of temperature and freezing cold water. However, either Amai or Rika is a possibility for this! Rika's instrument could get damaged or warped with large changes of temperature such as the ones Monokuma has been inflicting on us for the past few days. And Amai's candy also may've been affected. Candy doesn't fare too well with quick changes of temperature, does it? And Amai could've chosen her victim, Koto, since she cares about him so much, trying to put him out... Of misery... Of h-his misery." Missy choked back an angry sob. |

Missy blinked quietly. "...Oh. Sorry. He." It was hard to think with her brain shadowed with anger, broiling and smoking with upset and oh god Koto was dead this couldn't be happening... Oh god oh god... After a moment, Missy realized that she was hyperventilating again. Taking a slow, deep breath, she sorted through it. Think, you worthless clockmaker. Think!
Casting a sidelong glance at Shi, Missy rolled her eyes and grumbled. "Okay, now is NOT the time, Shi. Please kindly shut up, snoop."
She looked down. "It doesn't matter anyway. It was most likely Rika, anyway. While Amai was close and could've wanted to put Koto out of his misery, Rika does work with wax and wood. I don't think Amai works with wood quite so much. As an instrumentalist, Rika would have more opportunity to be in the storage room, which smells strongly of wood constantly due to the wooden crates." Another breath. Keep thinking. "However, Amai wouldn't have as much of a chance to be in the storage room. His SHSL is kitchen-based, so he'd be working in the kitchen of all places. Candy isn't that affected by temperature... well, maybe it is, but candy is replaceable. An instrument, however, is not quite as replaceable on this ship."
Clutching at the podium once more, Missy forced the gears in her mind to keep turning. More evidence. More.
"Candy is a passion, certainly, but someone who plays an instrument... that is their life, isn't it? Letting that go... Letting an instrument break because of temperature changes would tear an musician apart, don't you think? A candymaker can replace what they make, but not an instrumentalist. Driven crazy by the idea that they could lose everything they loved, Rika stole--or found--a gun, probably in the storage area, explaining why it smells like wood, and searched for a target. He was probably even trying to keep his precious Clarinet safe beforehand, using wax to care for it. (Or not, I don't know much about musical instruments. If any of you do, you can confirm or deny this possibility.)" Missy glanced around at this statement, hoping that someone could fill in the gaps she found empty. "He found Koto. Koto was playing with his puppet, not paying much attention to his surroundings. (He does tha...did that when he was playing with his puppet.) In a fit of hysteria, Rika took aim and shot. Panicking, Rika also smashed him over the head with the butt of the gun, trying to make sure he was dead and not sure what to do. He then hid it on the fourth floor, trying to hide the evidence as best he could so no one would suspect him. The gun was far away from most of the dorms so it wouldn't place suspicion on any one person."
Missy sighed, hoping someone would point out the flaws or help her fix up her theory. It wasn't perfect or complete by any means, but it was something, nonetheless.
